It’s so wonderful to move out on your own, free from parental controls and rules. Most teenagers look forward to this time for most of their lives. Our parents try to teach us everything we need to know as they raise us and they sometimes have a really hard time when it’s time for you to leave their nest. They have a habit of teaching and molding us that they have been using for many years and then it’s a very hard habit for most to stop. Some parents never stop trying to teach us the basics even when we are well into adulthood. Try and be patient with them as they age and by seeing them on a regular basis you will let them know you love them and that you aren’t trying to shut them out.
